Arrival in Kathmandu
01 - Arrival & Kathmandu Welcome

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we’ll transfer you directly from the airport to Hotel Timila. The afternoon is dedicated to assembling and fine-tuning your bike, followed by your choice of cultural sightseeing or a relaxing yoga session to unwind before hitting the trails.

Begin your riding journey with a customizable warm-up loop around the Kathmandu Valley, covering 30–50 km with up to 1,000 meters of elevation gain. This scenic ride winds through vibrant rice fields and historic old towns, offering a spectacular introduction to the local terrain. Cap off the day with evening sightseeing or yoga before spending another night at Hotel Timila.

We’ll travel by van toward Manakamana (1,300 meters), a historic hilltop pilgrimage site home to a famous wish-fulfilling goddess temple. You can choose to save your legs by taking the iconic cable car to the top or tackle the steep climb by pedaling. From the summit, you'll drop into an absolute highlight of the trip: a thrilling, mega-downhill descent. Once at the bottom, a scenic 2-hour van transfer brings us straight to the lakeside city of Pokhara.

Saddle up for an epic loop through the heart of the Pokhara Valley. We’ll kick off the day pedaling through lush, terraced rice fields before tackling a rewarding 600-meter ascent. Your effort pays off at the summit with a jaw-dropping, panoramic viewpoint of the entire Himalayan range. After soaking in the majestic peaks, get ready for the ultimate reward: a thrilling, flowy downhill descent carving straight through dense tropical forest.

Catch a scenic morning flight to Jomsom to officially kick off the big mountain adventure. From the airstrip, enjoy a relaxed 15 km acclimatization ride to the ancient town of Kagbeni (2,800m). The striking, windswept landscapes are so spectacular that you won't want to hurry. Distance: 15 km. Night in Kagbeni.

We kick off the morning with a steady 3-to-4-hour grind up to the sacred town of Muktinath (3,500m), where we’ll refuel with a well-earned lunch. But the climbing isn't over yet—we push higher into the thin air to reach a spectacular 4,200m summit. From the top, it’s a mountain biker's dream: pure, wide-open Himalayan freeride. You'll carve an unforgettable, sweeping downhill all the way into the stunning Lupra Valley before we roll into the ancient village of Kagbeni for the night.

Climb out of Kagbeni to a 3,600m ridge offering sweeping, panoramic views across the desert-like Mustang terrain. After passing through a beautiful, traditional Tibetan village, plunge into a superb, high-speed downhill singletrack. End the day in Tinighaon (2,800m) with an authentic, incredibly welcoming homestay experience.

Distance: 25 km | Elevation Gain: 1,200m. | Hotel: Night in Tinighaon.

Spend the day exploring the remote trails around Tinighaon, starting with a climb to a hidden alpine lake at 3,800m for a scenic picnic lunch. Continue ascending to a spectacular 4,200m plateau facing some of the highest peaks on Earth, before dropping into a local favorite: an incredible downhill trail mixing perfect flow with technical challenges.

Distance: 25 km | Elevation Gain: 1,400m. | Night in Tinighaon.

The biggest challenge of the trip takes you into thin air. After a 1-hour morning shuttle to 4,200m, you'll tackle the final 1,100-meter push to Mesokanto Pass (5,300m) via a mix of riding, pushing, and bike-carrying. Reward yourself at the summit with world-class views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Tilicho Lake before a massive, unforgettable downhill descent all the way back to Thinigaon. (Zero pressure—riders can turn back to base at any point if needed). Night in Thinigaon.

Today, we have two different options for our ride:

Option 1: We tackle a long climb to a newly discovered 4,600m peak sitting right beneath Mount Dhaulagiri. The view from the top is spectacular, but the real highlight is the descent-a sandy surface that gives you the thrill of "surfing" down the Himalayas! Afterward, we will follow the Kali Gandaki River to Kalopani, dropping into a pine forest along the way to play on some incredibly fun single-tracks. (Distance: 35 km | Elevation Gain: 2,500m)

Option 2: For an easier day, we can skip the massive climb and follow the Kali Gandaki River directly to Kalopani, enjoying a relaxed ride on those same lovely pine forest single-tracks.

Leaving Kalopani, we’ll start our climb up to Numsang, a sweeping high-altitude plateau home to grazing yaks. We'll take a well-earned break right in front of the towering Mount Dhaulagiri to soak in the views before dropping into a fantastic downhill section. To cap off the day, we’ll ride out to explore a more rugged area closer to the mountain, discovering two beautiful, hidden alpine lakes.(Distance: 35 km | Elevation Gain: 700m)

For our final day in the mountains, we are heading down, way down. The first two to three hours are a spectacular, sustained descent featuring a perfect mix of chunky technical sections and fast, flowy trails. After that adrenaline rush, the route mellows out into a gentle two-hour ride taking us all the way down to Beni. Our van will be waiting there to load up the bikes, and we will take a 2-3 hour scenic drive back to civilization. We'll spend the night celebrating the end of an epic ride in Pokhara.

Distance: 60 km | Elevation Drop: -1,700m | Transfer: 2-3 hour drive to Pokhara

Pack up the gear and catch a comfortable 5-hour private van transfer back to Kathmandu. Upgrade Option: Guests can opt for a last-minute, 30-minute scenic flight back to the capital for an additional $110 USD. Night in Kathmandu.

Enjoy your final morning in Kathmandu for any last-minute shopping or resting. A private airport transfer will be perfectly timed with your flight schedule to drop you off for your international departure.
